Website Names Important in Creating Real Estate Business

When prospective homeowners are looking to buy or sell they will usually check out the internet to get an idea of what's on the market and housing prices in the area.  Your domain name is important in bringing people to your website.  If you need a domain name you will need to sign up with your website name as in www.yourwebsitename.com.  To be sure no one else has used that domain name already, you can go to IPage to check it out.  It can then be registered.  To build your own website is easy and economical with yearly charges around $8.95 annually with other free services included.

You may want to register several domain names that all funnel to your website which is called URL forwarding.  This redirects  multiple web addresses to one website.  You could have 100 URLs that forward to one site.  The annual cost for that runs about $10.99, very cost effective.

You can create other names to describe your service area, theses would go along with your original domain name.  Your may want to use a name that includes your hometown and adding the words homes for sale or real estate.  For example :

    yourhometownusarealestate.com
    yourhometownhomesforsale.com

By using a few different domain names you will be bringing a variety of real estate prospects to your online space.  When people look online for real estate they enter their hometown or neighborhood in their hometown and if you have domain names with these areas, chances are one of your names will appear in their search results.
