Real Estate Open House Tip 1

Many people once they visit an open house, are taking out their mobile phones to take more photos of the home to remember / evaluate it later in the afternoon or a day or two later. Furthermore, buyers usually wind up visiting 3 to 5 houses in the exact same day, so how do they remember your home versus the other ones they saw?

A great marketing strategy is to make a property website where you already have photos of each and every room in the house from multiple angles, in addition to close up photos of all interior and exterior top features of the home. Once you've completed this, then provide a simple flyer with a QR code / short url link as a good way for visitors to the open house to see all the photos, especially after the leave the house.

Website Names Important in Creating Real Estate Business

When prospective homeowners are looking to buy or sell they will usually check out the internet to get an idea of what's on the market and housing prices in the area.  Your domain name is important in bringing people to your website.  If you need a domain name you will need to sign up with your website name as in www.yourwebsitename.com.  To be sure no one else has used that domain name already, you can go to IPage to check it out.  It can then be registered.  To build your own website is easy and economical with yearly charges around $8.95 annually with other free services included.

You may want to register several domain names that all funnel to your website which is called URL forwarding.  This redirects  multiple web addresses to one website.  You could have 100 URLs that forward to one site.  The annual cost for that runs about $10.99, very cost effective.

You can create other names to describe your service area, theses would go along with your original domain name.  Your may want to use a name that includes your hometown and adding the words homes for sale or real estate.  For example :

    yourhometownusarealestate.com
    yourhometownhomesforsale.com

By using a few different domain names you will be bringing a variety of real estate prospects to your online space.  When people look online for real estate they enter their hometown or neighborhood in their hometown and if you have domain names with these areas, chances are one of your names will appear in their search results.

LinkedIn Make sure every possible detail about you business is on your company page

Once you've registered for a business account on LinkedIn, fill out most of the information regarding your company in your page, as you would for some other social network. This includes your real estate website URL, links to other social accounts, and your bio outlining your experience in real estate and the areas you specialize in (like selling certain types of homes or working in a specific price range). Did you just work at other agencies or brokerages previously? Do you have more than one Realtor certifications? Add those details as well.

Once all of your company info is added, create a professional-looking banner image for your Company Page header. Or, if you do not have the creative chops, hire a designer to produce one for you. It doesn't matter how you obtain one, the main thing is getting one.

Your header image should include unique information regarding your business. Perhaps you'd the best sales volume at your agency previously year, helped close the biggest deal in your community, or possess some amazing listings you've helped sell. Whatever separates you from the pack and makes your organization appear to be the cream of the crop should really be incorporated into your banner image. Even your real estate agent headshot with a text overlay featuring your contact information works well.

The more you are able to build your case that you're a knowledgeable, experienced, hard-working real estate agent, the more likely a local lead searching LinkedIn for real estate representation will consider you.
